What am I doing now?

It feels like I’m spending all my time recovering from a very costly trip to Ohio for the holidays. A lengthy cold, endless bureaucracy to deal with the fallout of stolen mail and the fraud that follows. But also, settling in to get back to work.

Freelance avails: Now booking for mid- 2025!

2024 was probably my busiest year ever. I like keeping lists, and I know that I clocked less than 30 ‘projects’ this year, but just one of them covered 25 music videos. I cranked out 1,000 VFX shots for various projects. I worked on cable TV, indie film, shorts, web series, trailers, logos, TV pilots, and live comedy shows, including several new episodes of IDIOMATIC.

I watched around 80 movies. A plurality of them had the Predator. The best ones didn’t have any dialogue. I walked over 1100 miles, only some of them were to the movie theater. I saw like 50-some ‘seasons’ of television– which is a lot, but seasons seem shorter than ever– and read 30-some books, some of which feel longer than ever. I found time for hundreds of hours of Frosthaven, and my group still isn’t done.
