Maintenance Update
When I started using my Normal Website more, my older site, Not Art, turned into a landing page. Links to social media, a few projects, that sort of thing. And just a couple of years later, I’m really impressed with how every link managed to break and every linked site found a way to go out of business or pivot into a dating app or a data mining app or something.
So this week I tracked down all of those things and fixed up all of the links. I also swapped a couple of newer shots into my motion graphics / vfx demo, above, and I’m generally tightening screws and fixing loose boards around the internet, shoveling the hateful comments off of certain youtube videos, etc.
I also created a twitter bot that posts a Set List slide twice a day, and I think it’s great. I’ve been fantasizing for years about just posting all of the slides somewhere where people could ask what the hell we were thinking and I would tell them. I’m always pretty optimistic that way. Anyhow, it should even be self-sufficient for the next few years, unless, of course, the sites I’m using to operate it close down.
